CLASSROOM IN THE CLOUD: A Test in NETLAB+ Student Submission Work

CITC Video - Members Only

BACKGROUND – Beta Iteration(s)

  • Approached with concept of creating pod used for programming where students can save program work and return later, and run codes & have instructors grade those codes
  • Beta tested Pilot: Classroom in the Cloud
  • Problem: most instructors who wanted to do programming wanted to do Visual Basic (non-Linux)
  • Rewrote from ground up to work specifically with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016
    • Redid user creation - now instructors can clone premade user (easier way of creating students)
    • Students save to documents folder
    • Instructors copy all student work at a scheduled time to a submission folder
  • See Demo on video
